Welcome to DevJobBoard. By accessing or using our website, services, and tools (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Service Overview

DevJobBoard is a localized job board platform connecting employers with job seekers in specific cities. We provide a platform for posting and viewing job listings. We are not a recruitment agency, employer, or headhunter.

2. Job Postings and Payments

  • Fees: We charge a flat fee of $5.00 USD per job posting per city. All fees are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Duration: Job postings are active for 30 days from the date of payment. After this period, they will automatically expire.
  • No Refunds: Because our Services are digital and immediately delivered (the publication of your ad), all payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or at our sole discretion.
  • Listing Content: You represent and warrant that all information provided in your job listing is accurate, lawful, and does not violate the rights of any third party.

3. User Conduct

By using DevJobBoard, you agree NOT to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings.
  • Post content that is discriminatory, offensive, defamatory, or violates applicable labor laws.
  • Use the Services to harvest data, scrape content, or send unsolicited spam.
  • Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the platform.

We reserve the right to remove any content and ban users who violate these guidelines without notice or refund.

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of the text and logos you upload. By posting on DevJobBoard, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Services.

Our Content: The DevJobBoard platform, including its code, design, and branding, is the property of DevJobBoard and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, NOR DO WE GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC RESULTS FROM POSTING A JOB.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEVJOBBOARD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DevJobBoard and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
